For those fearless Skwatch-hounds in Oregon, this exciting opportunity presents itself. There is a weekly Skwatch hunt out of Salem every Fri & Sat during the summer. Groupon has a deal on them now at 53% off.
More has been added to the FAQ and 2 shiny, new comics were just uploaded.
Finding Bigfoot season is near an end with little to show for all their effort. The profound lack of results seems not to trouble BFRO since there has been no change in the show's formula or approach. Repeating the same thing over and over but expecting different results has a name. Well S3/E3 of Finding Bigfoot is in the books. The same tired script/formula was followed again. We "learned" that bigfoots are dumpster diving Okies - among their many other talents. Some DNA was tested but was too degraded. Bigfoot remains a mystery and the show can continue.
Clearly there is no serious "research" being perpetrated at BFRO but it is passable comedy and a nice diversion. I will continue to watch but it will be more for the antics of Bobo and the sex appeal of the oh, so skwatchy Renae - helmet hair and all. We are on the cusp of another episode. S3/E3 I believe. I missed S3/E2 but will give impressions shortly. For now I am poised for 3 and will report in the next day or so. Buckle up and put on your skwatch hats.
Well the glitzy 1st episode of the new season is in the books. No surprises. They followed the formula/script with the notable addition of a visit to a professor who specializes in other-than-man bipeds. Interesting but the print in question looked hinky to me.
The Idaho exploration pretty much plodded through the show template. Nothing new. The mystery continues. Stay tuned. Perhaps the most remarkable thing - or in my case and the case of many male skwatchers - most disappointing, was Ranae. Why would the sexiest skwatch-hound on the planet insist on sticking with the birthcontrol glasses and helmet hair? This is as much a mystery as the bigfoot himself. She had a whole season to rethink the hair and shake up the team a bit w/ a little sex appeal. Instead we are obligated to imagine a sultry Ranae with flowing brown locks and designer frames. The season is young. Maybe Ranae will come around. We are on the cusp of an all new Season of Finding Bigfoot. I admit to being pretty absorbed in my own bigfoot research to stay on top of Season 2. Have they found him? Are the characters all the same? New techniques? New technology?
It is very exciting folks. Buckle up. Put on your helmet and think skwatchy thoughts. Let's set the hook and reel this thing in. New Bigfoot Comic The IBRORG art dept is not dead! Another bigfoot comic is available for consumption.
Bigfoot Week? Well, my campaign for Discovery Channel to air a week of Bigfoot shows is in full swing. While I am only nipping at the heals of a few ow-level execs it seems there is a chance. If sharks are such a hit, especially when running the same stale, leaping footage in a loop, I don't see why 1/52nd of a year cannot be devoted to America's premier mystery animal. The effort slogs on. I have a good feeling about April of next year - the start of N. American Bigfoot season.
